Ovation Productions announced On September 23, 2022 that they are bringing the world’s famous Swedish DJ Alesso to Manila.

Alesso will have his tour at the SMDC Festival Grounds on December 17, 2022. Although ticket prices are yet to be announced, fans were encouraged to follow the official Facebook page of Ovation Productions to keep them posted.

Alesso is a DJ and dance music producer of different musical genres from Sweden. His first major achievement was in 2011 when his remix of Nadia Ali’s track “Pressure” became one of the most successful EDM efforts of the year. He also placed as one of DJ Mag’s Top 100, debuting at number 70 in the same year.

In 2012, he released “Calling” with Sebastian Ingrosso and Ryan Tedder which earned Track of the Year award in Zane Lowe’s prime time radio 1 slot. A year later, his collaborative single “Under Control” with Calvin Harris and Hurts ranked first in UK charts.

Being one of the best in the industry, Alesso was also nominated for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical in the 56th Grammy Awards for “If I Lose Myself” with OneRepublic.

Back in 2015, he finally released his debut album entitled “Forever.” Two years later, he received another major international hit with “Let Me Go”, a collaboration single with Hailee Steinfield featuring Florida Georgia Line and WATT.

Alesso last visited the Philippines in September 2016 for the Road To Ultra Festival at the Mall of Asia Arena. He has also performed in different music festivals such as Coachella, Creamfields, and Electric Daisy Carnival.
