Amy Perez, Jeff Canoy, and Johnson Manabat, the weekday companions of Kapamilya early birds who have been watching TeleRadyo’s morning show “Sakto,” which is celebrating its second year on air, shared that their bond is stronger than ever.

According to Amy, their trust in each other is deeper as they live out their vow of bringing the right mix of news and fun to audiences on weekday mornings together.

The connection of TeleRadyo’s morning trio is evident as they deliver the news and banter with each other effortlessly. In fact, Johnson, who never experienced hosting a morning show prior to “Sakto,” said that he always felt the support and guidance of Tyang Amy and Jeff so he can adjust his hosting skills to fit the morning show format.

Jeff on the other hand considers “Sakto” as a blessing, saying that the TeleRadyo morning show came at the right time to fill in the gap left by ABS-CBN’s “Umagang Kay Ganda.”

Amy, Jeff, and Johnson are also hopeful that as the pandemic nears its end, they will get to invite more live guests, feature live performances from artists, do cooking segments, explore the outdoors, and more.

For their second anniversary, “It’s Showtime” Miss Q&A winner Anne Patricia Lorenzo and Ogie Alcasid celebrated the milestone as guests on the morning show. Viewers can expect other celebrities and more surprise guests to be with Amy, Jeff, and Johnson in the days to come.
