Continuing the celebration of Pride Month and the 450th year of Manila Day. Manila’s Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso and Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan led the Bekshiekleta Program in partnership with FoodPanda Philippines and the Public Employment Service Office (PESO)-Manila. Food Panda is administering and providing job opportunities to the Manila people amidst the pandemic.

The Bekshiekleta Ceremonial Awarding was held at the Bonifacio Monument on June 28, 2021. Food Panda gave 50 freelance delivery bikers free bicycle units and safety gears, android cellphones and P5,000 worth of cellphone load.

The DOLE Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program said that this is one of the many programs that they implement not only in the City of Manila but throughout the Philippines.
