Following the launch of its new and improved online ordering and delivery site, Phoenix SUPER LPG, the LPG brand of Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc., now accepts online payments for its products—the first to offer such service for retail LPG nationwide.

Starting July 21, Visa and Mastercard debit and credit card holders can pay for their Phoenix SUPER LPG orders via its online portal, offering safer and more convenient transactions to its customers nationwide.

“Since the pandemic hit our country, we have been introducing a lot of new and digital-based programs in the past months to quickly adapt our operations to the new normal,” said Phoenix President and Chief Operating Officer Henry Albert Fadullon. “Demand for LPG products has particularly increased during the quarantine period since most households prefer cooking at home these days. Thus, on top of the convenience we provide through our online order and delivery service, we have enabled online payments for the purchase of our products to help the community become a safer place for everyone,” he added.

The online payment option for Phoenix SUPER LPG products is part of the company’s aggressive shift to digital transaction as response to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

In June, the company rolled out its contactless payment option in Phoenix gas stations nationwide. Its convenience store brand, FamilyMart, has also been accepting online payment for transactions made in its store or through its online order and delivery service.
