Angel Locsin has been praised for her philanthropic efforts through the show “Iba Yan”, her donation drive called #UnitentWeStand, Shop & Share project, and more. Aside from all these philanthropic deeds, director and businessman Lester Pimentel Ong shared a kind act of Angel Locsin that most may not have known.

Lester Pimentel Ong shared on Facebook, that a stuntman on set was severely hurt and hospitalized for around a month and had a big chance of never walking again. He added that when the hospital was not too busy, the “Darna” actress would come visit the anonymous stuntman.

Ong wrote “One late night ng konti na lang tao sa public hospital kung saan nakaconfine si injured stuntman, dumating siya kasama lang ang driver niya… kinumusta si stuntman, consoled his wife and mom, then asked the person in charge of the hospital how much was the accumulated bill at magkano pa ang kakailanganin para makalakad pa ulit si stuntman. Agad nyang binayaran ang bill, nagiwan ng pabaon at encouraging words sa pamilya, then she left”.

Ong commended Locsin and dubbed her a real-life Darna who does good deeds even when nobody is watching. This particular act of Locsin, changed the life of the stuntman despite the lack of publicity until Ong’s Facebook post.

Upon seeing the Facebook entry, netizens praised Locsin and called her a “Good Samaritan”, “real angel”, “kind-hearted”, and more.
