Meta, Mark Zuckerberg’s firm that controls Facebook, is moving forward with product promotion.

On May 9, the Meta store opened in Burlington, California, allowing visitors to get a closer peek at the metaverse.

Meta proudly presents its small retail store, claiming that it does not only serve as a hub for showcasing its products but also helps with the development of Meta via customer feedback.

“Having the store here in Burlingame gives us more opportunity to experiment and keep the customer experience core to our development. What we learn here will help define our future retail strategy,” Martin Gilliard, Head of Meta Store stated.

The retail store offers demos for their products, allowing patrons to learn about Meta’s products, notably with their portal devices and digi-glasses.

Meta also seeks to have its patrons have extensive knowledge of its products and its products’ possible future.

“The Meta Store is going to help people make that connection to how our products can be the gateway to the metaverse in the future. We’re not selling the metaverse in our store, but hopefully people will come in and walk out knowing a little bit more about how our products will help connect them to it,” Gilliard added.

The store will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. PT Monday through Friday. It is located at 322 Airport Blvd., Burlingame, CA. Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 2 accessories, and Meta Portal devices will be available for purchase.
