The tech giant Apple has surprised its iPhone 12 and iPhone12 mini users to experience the fresh look of its iPhone color upgrade during its announcement on Tuesday, April 20 along with new iMacs, iPad Pro, AirTags, and an updated Apple TV.
“The new purple finish, just in time for spring, adds another bright and fun option to the lineup, and we think customers are going to love it,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.
“This new color beautifully accentuates the flat aluminum edges of iPhone 12, which are perfectly color-matched to the precision-milled back glass,” Apple wrote on its website.
The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini will be available in five other stunning colors (blue, green, black, white, and red). Both feature an advanced dual-camera system, Super Retina XDR display, improved durability, A14 Bionic for “great battery life”, and 5G experience.
The two versions of purple iPhones will also be available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB expandable models, price starting at PHP38,679.99 ($799) before trade-in.
Pre-orders for both iPhones will be available in China, Japan, the US, the Philippines, and 30 other countries beginning Friday, April 23.
