Smile Train, the world’s leading cleft charity, has undertaken another “smilestone” as they marked its 20th year, reaching more patients and building more cleft centers in the country through the help of over 50 partners.

Just in time before the National Cleft and Craniofacial Awareness Month this July, Smile Train has spread like wildfire as they recently announced the additional four major cleft centers built in parts of Luzon and the Visayas.

Smile Train’s free comprehensive cleft centers are now open in Cebu (accessible for patients in Cebu and provinces like Bohol, Leyte, Samar, and Negros Oriental), Philippine Band of Mercy in Metro Manila (for patients in the Northern part of Metro Manila and nearby provinces like Bulacan), Marikina St. Vincent General Hospital in Metro Manila (for patients in the Eastern part of Metro Manila and nearby provinces like Rizal), and San Fernando Hospital in Pampanga (accessible for patients from the province of Pampanga and others in Central Luzon, Bataan, Zambales, Tarlac) that offers speech, nutrition, orthodontic.

Also, Smile Train is currently working on launching cleft centers to the areas of Good Samaritan in Nueva Ecija province (accessible for patients from other provinces like Tarlac, Zambales, Aurora, Quezon, Nueva Vizcaya), and Tebow Cure in Davao (accessible for patients in Southern Mindanao). Both offer services in speech and nutrition.
