A long-awaited feature will soon roll in Twitter, contrary to its idea being scrapped, just after Elon Musk steps in as Twitter’s shareholder on Monday, and among Twitter’s board directors on Tuesday.
CEO of Tesla and SpaceX Elon Musk is now Twitter’s shareholder, owning about 9.2 percent of the platform, about $3 billions worth on Monday.

Musk made a poll Immediately after Musk’s entry with the platform, asking users whether or not the platform should feature an ‘edit’ feature, which was turned down at one point years ago.
73 percent of users wanted the feature to be implemented, with plenty of users wanting to reduce spam, and that the feature should come with logs of changes.
The consequences of this poll will be important. Please vote carefully. https://t.co/UDJIvznALB

Twitter’s CEO Parag Agrawal immediately follows that consequences may follow with the poll’s result, urging users to vote carefully.
I’m excited to share that we’re appointing @elonmusk to our board! Through conversations with Elon in recent weeks, it became clear to us that he would bring great value to our Board.

Now that Elon Musk sits among the board directors, not to mention SEC’s management with his new business, as well as Agrawal’s praises over Musk, time can only tell about the update’s release or when it will be released.
