A routine drive home took an unexpected turn into a heartwarming story of generosity and altruism on the rainy night of August 25, 2024, in C-5 Pasig City.

Mark Anthony Bernales, traveling with his family, experienced a sudden flat tire on their right front wheel while navigating down C-5 Road.

As rain poured and darkness covered the road, the Bernales family faced mounting frustration. Their predicament seemed grim until an Angkas rider, later identified as Mark Chua, arrived to offer assistance. With a warm smile and readiness to help, Chua quickly set about replacing the flat tire.

In less than 20 minutes, Chua had the tire replaced and the vehicle ready to continue its journey.

The Bernales family, deeply grateful for the timely help, attempted to offer Chua a small token of appreciation. Chua, however, declined the offer, expressing that he was simply happy to assist and did not expect anything in return.

Mark Anthony Bernales praised Chua’s act of kindness, saying, “Mabuhay ang mga Angkas Riders na katulad mo! Hope makarating ito sa Angkas Management! (Long live Angkas Riders like you! I hope this reaches the Angkas Management!)”
