Long before entering politics, Christopher de Venecia had a brief stint as a child actor. He principal authored an act for the welfare of children. The full name of the act is “AN ACT IMPOSING STIFFER PENALTIES FOR CHILD ABUSE, EXPLOITATION AND DISCRIMINATION, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7610, AS AMENDED”.
