6. Audrey Hepburn

Aside from being a movie and fashion icon, Audrey Hepburn is also most famous for her works as a UNICEF ambassador.

One of Audrey’s most famous works is Roman Holiday (1953), which made her the first woman to win a BAFTA, an Oscar, and a Golden Globe for Best Actress for a single role. Come Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961) when Audrey came out with one of the most iconic looks in fashion history that is still being copied to this day.

But what really made her included to this list started when she became a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador after remembering the depressing World War 2. She spent her time visiting devastated areas in Africa, Asia, and South America and helped those who needed food, shelter, clean water, and vaccinations. Due to this, she was bestowed the US Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1992, a year before she passed.

Audrey continues to be an inspiration among generations not just for her movie roles, but for her humanitarian works as well.
