Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, today announced that it has received the Great Place to Work® certification for 2021 in the Philippines. This recognition underscores the importance Vertiv gives to building a strong employee culture built on trust, collaboration and engagement.

Great Place to Work®, a global authority on workplace culture, conducted an online survey of 571 Vertiv employees and analyzed the data. According to the 2021 Great Place to Work Trust Index Survey, 77% of its employees in the Philippines ranked Vertiv as a Great Place to Work with the results showing that Vertiv employees trust their leaders, take pride in what they do, and benefit from a thriving work culture.

“Being certified as a Great Place to Work is a testament to how we value our people. Our employees make it possible for Vertiv to continue helping businesses move forward, especially during these difficult times. They deserve no less than the best work culture and environment,” said David Yao, general manager, global regional operations center at Vertiv.

To provide employees with quality workplace experience during the challenges of remote work, Vertiv implemented several initiatives focused on building employee engagement through the use of internal communications tools and social media.

“We congratulate Vertiv Philippines on their Certification! It is the voice of employees that says if a company is a great workplace; and through the Great Place to Work® Trust Index™ survey, 77% of Vertiv employees shared that they have a great workplace experience at Vertiv. This is true to Vertiv’s employer promise of providing meaningful and fulfilling work to their people. Our research shows that companies where employees trust the people they work for, enjoy the people they work with, and have pride in what they do are able to deliver outstanding business results,” said Antoniette Mendoza-Talosig, managing partner of Great Place to Work® Philippines.

“The certification is just one empowering step closer to our vision of being the employer of choice. As we continue to provide products and services vital to the world’s critical digital infrastructure, we will raise the bar in making Vertiv one of the best workplaces in the Philippines,” said Yao.

Vertiv has over 700 employees in the Philippines, where it runs both the local business operations as well as the regional and global shared services. To know more about Vertiv, visit Vertiv.com.
