Radyo 630 and Teleradyo Serbisyo continue their commitment to serving the Filipino public, even during times of calamity, through their immediate response and relief efforts to aid those heavily affected by the onslaught of Typhoon Carina.

During the height of the storm, Radyo 630 and Teleradyo Serbisyo deployed personnel to the Delpan Evacuation Center and served warm meals to 1,500 individuals from Manila Districts 1 and 3; and provided 78 kilos of vegetables to the residents of Barangay Tumana, Marikina City.

The Radyo 630 response team also assisted over 1,600 evacuees in Barangay Bagong Silang, Quezon City, and Barangays 159, 164, and 169 in Caloocan.

Alongside its immediate response efforts, Radyo 630 and Teleradyo Serbisyo played a vital role in disseminating live weather updates during the onslaught of Carina and the heavy monsoon rains across various platforms.

As the storm passed, Radyo 630 brought the community together to promote a healthy lifestyle for Filipino families in “Puntahan ng Bayan: Para sa Kalusugan” last July 31 in Tondo, Manila in celebration of Nutrition Month. The event, hosted by Radyo 630 anchors DJ Jhai Ho and Dr. Dennis Ngo, treated over 400 attendees with fun activities and informative talks on family nutrition and hygiene.

Listen to Radyo 630 on AM radio via its 630 kHz frequency or watch Teleradyo Serbisyo via free and cable TV, plus online via its official Facebook and YouTube pages.
