Along with being a house representative, Edward Maceda is also a lawyer. He has principal authored pending bills. One pending bill entails the protection of workers in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Industry which has been pending since September 4 of 2019. Another pending bill is one that rectifies errors in history textbooks that are being used in schools, this bill has been pending since September 13 of 2019.

Some may view these 11 representatives as the “brave 11”, those who voted in favor of the ABS-CBN franchise renewal amidst a house of representatives filled with those who voted against. Each of the 11 representatives has taken part in the creation of several bills other than those mentioned. All of the bills they have principal authored or co-authored can be found in the house of representatives website. May we keep in mind these 11 and the other 73 representatives during the next election.
