ICYDK, “liga” (which is “league” in English” is a series of basketball games among barangays. Players are usually assembled by their respective sub-groups.
Liga’s regularly run for around 2 months, given that’s the duration of summer vacations.
In addition, there are also instances when towns organize Inter-Barangay tournaments and many barangays compete against each other. Good times!
