This month, March 2025, marks the 25th anniversary of the “Final Destination” horror movie franchise. The first “Final Destination” movie, starring Devon Sawa and Ali Larter, was released on March 17, 2000, and started a cult following among horror movie enthusiasts that is still very much alive in 2025.

In honor of Final Destination’s 25th anniversary, Warner Bros. Pictures has launched a 25-hour livestream of the film franchise’s most iconic deaths, which started midnight of March 18 (Philippine time). The livestream features a 25-minute compilation video that will play on loop during the entire stream—reliving 25 years of deaths for 25 hours. Be sure to tune in because there might be surprises during the stream about the latest movie, “Final Destination Bloodlines.”

On May 14 of this year, Death will come back to haunt a new group of unsuspecting individuals when “Final Destination Bloodlines” opens only in cinemas. This sixth installment in the movie series stars Kaitlyn Santa Juana and Ted Briones, Canadian and American actors, respectively, of part-Filipino descent, as well as Richard Harmon (TV series “The 100”) and the late Tony Todd.

About “Final Destination Bloodlines”

The newest chapter in New Line Cinema’s bloody successful franchise takes audiences back to the very beginning of Death’s twisted sense of justice – “Final Destination Bloodlines.”

Plagued by a violent, recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all.

“Final Destination Bloodlines” stars Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, Rya Kihlstedt, Brec Bassinger, and Tony Todd.

The film is directed by Adam Stein & Zach Lipovsky. The screenplay is by Guy Busick & Lori Evans Taylor, and story is by Jon Watts and Guy Busick & Lori Evans Taylor. It is based on characters created by Jeffrey Reddick.
