Former “Tawag ng Tanghalan” contestant Rachel Gabreza marks the beginning of her journey as a recording artist with the release of her debut single “Nasa’n Ka Na.

The emotional pop track, composed by ABS-CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo and Juan Paulo B. Mendoza, paints a story of being unable to move forward after a relationship has ended.

“In relationship, sometimes may mga tanong tayo na hindi nasasagot katulad ng lyrics sa song ko na puro katanungan din,” she shared.

Her first single was a long time coming but it came out so beautifully and she believes that a lot of listeners will be able to relate to it.

Matagal ko na din pangarap ito, kaya nung unang rinig ko sa song na ito, sabi ko sa sarili ko ‘ito na yun!’ Napakaganda kasi ng song and grabe talaga ang sakit niya and I’m sure maraming makakarelate ng song na ito,” she said.

She hopes that the track would be a source of comfort for listeners as they process their own heartbreaks.

“The message that I want them to pick up on my first ever single, “Nasa’n Ka na” is to let them know na di sila nag-iisa. Walang masama ang magmahal pero we need to move forward in order to be a better version of ourselves and also to let go if it is not meant to be,” Rachel said.

With her powerful vocals, Rachel became a grand finalist of the first season of “Tawag ng Tanghalan.” Now a recording artist under Star Music, Rachel is set to tell her story through her own music.
