“Sobrang nagwoworry siya if magkakasya ba yung coins na meron siya [para] pambayad sa counter,” the content creator said.

Touched by the scenario that they had seen, Kenneth said on the video that he and his partner decided to help the kid by paying for the school supplies that he got. “My eyes started to become teary. I know how hard life is. Actually, I don’t want to post this, but I just wanted to inspire people to be good and nice to everyone,” he said.

In the video, Kenneth showed how the kid was respectful to them and expressed his appreciation for paying for his school supplies, saying that he waited for them outside the grocery mall just to say thank you.

With the kindness shown by Kenneth in his TikTok video, he was not only praised by many but also encouraged netizens to do the same, which opened a platform to people who also wanted to help the kid buy more of his school needs.

A few days after the video, Kenneth uploaded video updates about the kid that they helped and disclosed to him that a lot of people also wanted to extend their help to him to have a decent education.

“I was emotional while explaining to him na maraming gustong tumulong sa kanya. Sad to hear that they do not have [a] cellphone at home, so I decided to offer him help through my e-wallet account [as a platform] for those who want to send their donations,” he said.

The video updates from Kenneth became an eye-opener and inspiration for many to appreciate the things around them and also learn to pay it forward by helping other people.

“Hindi pa din nawawala sa mga Pinoy ang pagiging malambot ang puso sa kapwa. Kahit pinatatag na tayo ng panahon at mga pangyayari sa buhay,” a netizen commented on one of Kenneth’s videos.

As of this writing, the content creator is still giving updates through his TikTok account about the kid, wherein he shows the school supplies that he bought and shares that all of the excess from the donations were given to the kid’s family to accommodate their daily and school expenses.
