Negros Occidental, the country’s sugar capital, is offering seven signature culture hub tours starting this week for visitors to experience the “heart of Negros.”

“The Culture Hub Tours is more than a journey through iconic landmarks; it is an invitation to the very heart and soul of Negros Occidental,” the provincial government said in a statement on Tuesday.

The seven seamless, curated circuits are designed to showcase the province’s diversity through competitively priced, multi-stop guided tours for solo travelers or specialized groups.

“From the ‘Sugar Trail’ to the highlands of Don Salvador Benedicto, we don’t just take you to a destination; we transport you into a culture cultivated by passion,” it added.

Tour A, which costs PHP450, covers the Provincial Capitol, Panaad Park, and other sites in Bacolod City, while Tour B, dubbed “The Sugar Trail,” brings guests around Bacolod and the neighboring cities of Talisay and Silay for PHP500.

Tour C, with a fee of PHP500, is a journey through Bacolod and Mambukal Resort and Wildlife Sanctuary in Murcia town, while Tour D, called the “Heritage Tour,” covers the Bacolod-Talisay-Silay route, also for PHP500.

Tour E offers the Bacolod-North attractions for PHP600, with a full-day countryside adventure “beyond the city and into historic estates, eco-parks with distinct bird-watching sites, and scenic mountain landscapes.”

Tour F, also for PHP600, introduces the Bacolod-Central-South through historic towns, sugar industry landmarks, heritage churches, and beloved local food destinations.

Still for PHP600, Tour G takes the guest from Bacolod up to the cool mountain landscapes of Don Salvador Benedicto, known as the “Little Baguio of Negros,” on a refreshing highland getaway.

This month, available schedules are for Tour A on March 25; Tour D, March 27; and Tour G, March 31.

Guests can book a tour online via https://culturehubtours.negros-occ.gov.ph/ or scan the quick response (QR) codes on the Negros Culture Hub Tours social media pages.

For in-person reservations, one can visit the dedicated booking office at Negros Residences in this city for specialized group arrangements. (PNA)
