The Spring/Summer 2027 collection defies seasonal conventions by adopting absolute black as its sole and foundational canvas. Far from representing the absence of light, the monochromatic palette serves as the perfect catalyst to reveal form, movement, and the contrast between rigor and poetry.

Seen as part of PAGEONE Media’s on-the-ground coverage of Milan Fashion Week for the Spring/Summer 2027 season, the collection offered Filipino audiences a closer look at how designers continue to reconsider familiar ideas of seasonal dressing. Against the energy of Milan, its disciplined use of black placed the focus firmly on construction, texture and sculptural detail, allowing the clothes themselves to carry the visual drama.

Tailoring and garment design reflect precise cuts and clean lines, where architectural precision structures the body in a minimalist way—eliminating the superfluous to highlight only the essence of the silhouette, which contrasts with voluminous, three-dimensional details integrated directly into the anatomy of the pieces. Botanical elements appear sculpted from the collection’s own fabrics, moving beyond flat prints to become organic structures that emerge from lapels, shoulders, necklines, and waistlines.

This same sculptural language extends to accessories and footwear, where the fluid and voluminous shapes of flowers adorn them, turning every step into an extension of the garment itself. Everything takes shape through exceptional raw materials in a constant sensory interplay of weights, textures, and transparencies.

Pure silk and noble virgin Wool ensure flawless drape and Sharp precision, while lighter fabrics lend an ethereal transparency that subtly reveals the skin, balancing the density of black with the lightness of air.
