A new wellness campaign is resonating with Filipinos by placing human stories at the forefront of its advocacy. Joyful Wellness, recently launched by NEXT, is redefining the way people approach health—by embracing self-awareness, science, and community.

At the heart of the campaign is Hazel Calawod, the Nutrition Pillar Champion and main ambassador. Her personal transformation story, built on food, mindset, and healing, embodies the mission of Joyful Wellness to make wellness not just possible, but joyful.

During the launch event, a panel titled Impact Stories featured Calawod alongside Dr. Kathy Mercado, a gastroenterologist and Functional Medicine practitioner; Atty. Edsel Tupaz, a LifeScience patient and wellness advocate; and Mitch Genato, Group CEO of ROMLAS. The panel highlighted real-life experiences of stress, burnout, and recovery, demonstrating how small, intentional changes can lead to lasting health improvements.

The campaign, rooted in Functional Medicine principles, encourages Filipinos to begin their own wellness journeys with tools like A Better You Journal, a reflective guide that helps individuals set personal health goals. The hardcover edition is available at ₱888, with a softcover edition priced at ₱688 launching soon.

By prioritizing lived experiences and human connections, Joyful Wellness offers a compassionate and sustainable path to health and well-being.
