Singer-songwriter Carlo Bautista just released his self-titled debut album featuring his rendition of OPM favorites and an original song called “Tayong Dalawa.”

“Napili ko yung mga song na sa tingin ko at sa tulong ng Star Music ay mabibigyan ko ng bagong kulay. Sobrang happy and proud ako sa tunog and excited na marinig ng nakakaraming Pinoy,” he said.

His previously released songs “Hiling,” “Walang Iba,” “Sa Mga Bituin Na Lang Ibubulong,” “Puro Laro,” and “Kwarto” (Stripped) are part of the album.

Meanwhile, his self-composed song “Tayong Dalawa” expresses the sweetness of love where one could not help but think about their lover and how they want to be close to each other. The track was produced by Eunice Evangel Jorge and Velvet Playground.

“Yung ‘Tayong Dalawa’ is already a 10-year-old song and sinulat ko ito dahil sa experience ko sa pag-ibig na ano man ang gawin ko lagi ko siyang iniisip at palagi kong gusto makasama yung taong mahal ko kahit wala sa tabi ko,” Carlo shared.

With his singing and writing abilities, the pop-alternative artist began his journey as a full-time musician singing demos for hitmakers like Gary Valenciano and performing in bars, wedding events, and parties. In 2018, he appeared as a contestant in the singing competition “Tawag ng Tanghalan.” After his stint on “Idol Philippines season 1,” Carlo released his singles “Kwarto” and “Puro Laro” which was featured in the IWantTFC series “Mga Batang Poz” in 2019.
