Christian Caguicla, while waiting at a carwash in Taguig, extended kindness to 86-year-old Nanay Bajao, who was seeking assistance in the area. Touched by her situation, Caguicla felt compelled to act. “I felt it in my heart that I had to reach out to her,” he shared.

He invited Nanay Bajao to share a meal, a gesture that brought her immense happiness. A widow and caregiver to her five orphaned grandchildren, Nanay Bajao faces daily struggles, especially as she cannot read or write. Despite her challenges, she expressed deep gratitude for the unexpected act of kindness.

Caguicla reflected on the encounter, saying, “Ako din na bless sa presence nya today,” describing it as a moment to share God’s love and light.

The story reminds us of the power of compassion and how small, heartfelt gestures can bring hope and joy, not just to those in need, but to those who give as well.
