Rumors were finally addressed as Pauline Amelinckx and Michelle Dee confirmed that they will participate once again in the Miss Universe Philippines this year.

On February 19, Amelinckx delightfully announced on her Facebook account that she is officially a part of the Top 40 for Miss Universe Philippines.

“A phenomenal woman said yesterday that this opportunity comes around once, twice, and sometimes even thrice in a life time. That realization of me being able to once again step on the MUPh stage, even on my 3rd attempt, with so much love from others, makes me feel incredibly grateful, humbled, and more driven,” she captioned.

Amelinckx also emphasized that she joined the said competition once again to have a final round in the pageant before she reach the contest’s age limit.

During her pageant career, she won the title Mutya ng Pilipinas Global Beauty Queen 2018, Miss Universe Philippines 2020 is the third-runner-up, especially Miss Universe Philippines Charity 2022.

On the other hand, Michelle Dee also posted a confirmation on her Instagram account about joining the pageant once again.

Photos relating to her competing for Miss Universe Philippines 2023 have the hashtag “#deepatapos,” implying that her journey in vying for the crown is not over yet.

It can be recalled that Michelle Dee was crowned Miss Universe Philippines Tourism 2022, next to the eventual winner, Celeste Cortesi.

Michelle Dee was crowned Miss World Philippines 2019, Miss World 2019 among the Top 12 semifinalists, and of course, Miss Universe Philippines Tourism 2022.

The Miss Universe Philippines announced their official 40 candidates on February 14, presenting some familiar names in the pageantry world such as Amelinckx and Dee.
