Kim Won Shik Celebrates Debut Single At Mr. And Ms. Chinatown Global Winners Night

Award-winning South Korean singer Kim Won Shik performed as the special guest at the Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Global’s Winners Night held in Hilton Manila at Newport World Resorts on January 20.

Won Shik came all the way from South Korea to perform his first single “To Be With You” under Philippine record label Universal Records.

“I’m so happy I got to perform my debut single at such a prestigious event,” said Won Shik in his Francis Libiran suit.

“As a South Korean singer who was flown to the Philippines to sing my own song, I am very honored to be part of this,” he added.

His single is part of the OST of the Philippine adaptation of the hit K-Drama “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” starring Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino.

The song won Best Theme Song at the recently concluded 2024 Asian TV Awards held in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Won Shik is currently based in South Korea but has an active career in the Philippines.

He walked for Bench Fashion Week as a Bench endorser and currently promotes his latest single “Hello My Love” which is included in the OST of the hit Viu original series “How to Spot a Red Flag” starring Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano.

Hosted by CHiNOY TV and the Federation of Filipino Chinese Association of the Philippines Foundation Inc., the inaugural event celebrates Chinese heritage and traditions and welcomes participants from around the world.
