Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto grace the cover of Metro anew and talk about the ease of working together on their reunion film “Un/Happy For You.”

During the cover shoot, JoshLia showed no awkwardness as a former couple and surprisingly exuded chemistry and magic unique to their onscreen tandem that transcended the hit movies and series they previously starred in.

“I don’t know how we got so lucky that everything just came so naturally and easy. Walang naging challenge reuniting with Josh again. He’s in such a good headspace and in a good place in his life that it really shows in his aura and the way na paano siya makisama sa ibang tao and even to me,” Julia told Metro.Style.

The two are now playing the role of exes Juancho (Joshua) and Zy (Julia) in the film collaboration by Star Cinema and Viva Films showing on August 14 in theaters.

For Joshua, their reunion project came at the right time as he wanted to work with Star Cinema again, preferably with Julia as his partner.

“Bukod sa gusto ko makatrabaho uli si Julia, gusto kong magpelikula ulit. And ang tagal ko nang hindi nakatrabaho ang Star [Cinema] sa pelikula so gusto kong bumalik. And sabi ko sa kanila, kung babalik ako ng Star [Cinema], mas maganda siguro kung with Julia,” Joshua said.
