“Thank you to all the fans! I was so surprised when I heard the news! I never imagined myself becoming a Guinness World Records title holder, and am truly grateful for all the love and support. I would not be here without my members and our NCTzens. I’ll try my best to connect and communicate even more through socials. I love you all!” Taeil said on Guinness’ official website.
Other previous holders of the record were Jennifer Aniston, David Beckham, Pope Francis, and Sussex’s Duke and Duchess – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
As of writing, Taeil has 2.1 million followers and 9 Instagram posts, with his first post reaching 1.6 million likes and 146k comments.
He follows 7 users in his account, all of which are his co-members in NCT 127. He is now the 17th member of the group to have a personal IG account.
Taeil debuted as a member of NCT in 2016 with the sub-unit NCT U and later on made a debut in another sub-unit, NCT 127.
